PTO Weekly Update: 2009-2010 Redux
Congratulations 5th graders and their families!! Thanks to the 4/5 team, Barbara Leopold (we'll miss you, Barbara!), Betsy Greene and all the faculty, staff and parents who made Step Up such a terrific experience for the 5th grade class.
If you missed the great Step Up slide show, you might see it replayed at the Year-end assembly Wednesday, June 16th at 9:00am. All are welcome. Then don't forget to come back and pick up your kids for the summer at 11:30am! Maybe you should check the lost and found in the lobby, too. It filled up again.
PTO News--Congratulations and Welcome to our 3 PTO presidents for 2010--2011: Leslyn Hall, Rachel Stampul and Bridget Thomas. Watch for a big welcome back reception/meeting in August.
Thanks to the generous support of donors, volunteers, bakers, runners, cake paraders, pizza eaters, box top collectors and silent auction participants, we've raised over $14,000 to fund next year's school programs. If you would like to lend a hand with fundraising next year, we could use your help. Contact one of our new presidents (they're in the directory!) for more information.
We've been given a grant by PIRC VT to purchase Volunteer coordination software that will help us organize and better coordinate the resources in our community with the needs of teachers. It will also help us collect data and publish our school directory and weekly emails. We'll be testing the software over the summer and have more information for you before we get back to school.
