FALL BOOK FAIR - Tues, Dec 9 -Thurs, Dec 11, 8:15 am- 3:00 pm and Thurs night 5:00-6:30. This is an excellent place to find holiday gifts and support the Champlain PTO. Volunteers are still needed! PIZZA SALE to BENEFIT the SPRING MUSICAL--Thursday, December 11th, 5-6:30pm: After browsing the book fair, pick up a pizza to take home for dinner or to freeze for later. Order forms went home last week--contact Jenny Breckenridge at 860-6184 or jennybreck@burlingtontelecom.net if you need one--to order pre-baked pizzas made fresh for us by Mama Mia's. Choose from Cheese, pepperoni or 3-veggie. Ask your neighbors if they want dinner, too! ORDERS DUE BY TUESDAY, DEC. 9TH.

CHAMPLAIN MUSICAL - Musical Casting Rehearsals this week for grades 4/5! PTO FUNDRAISING - Have you heard the buzz? Friends, family and neighbors will love the delicious coffee of Vermont Coffee Company. We are offering dark, mild and decaf roasts - all whole bean. Please spread the word and plan to fill your coffee needs every month with the Champlain Elementary coffee club.
- With old man winter breathing down our necks, it's time to enjoy comfort foods that warm the soul. Join the Champlain Community with an evening out at Nothing But Noodles in the Blue Mall. On December 18th, Nothing But Noodles will donate 10% of dine-in sales and 15% of take out sales made to Champlain Elementary families to our school. This is a locally owned business that is trying to reach out to the community. Keep a look out for more information as we get closer. - scan teachers’ classroom letters that are sent home for on-line access
- volunteers to staff computer lab
- district technology plan contact person
- Front Porch Forum volunteer to represent Champlain (as appropriate) on that venue

BURLINGTON SCHOOL DISTRICT - Budget Hearings: The district is currently preparing our annual school budget, which will be discussed and voted upon by the full board at their regular meeting on December 9th at 7pm. Attend a budget hearing on December 16th or Jan. 6 at 7pm at BHS to learn more and give your input!
