4/5 PARENT MEETING
There will be an informational meeting for all parents with children going into grades 4 and 5 in the 2010-2011 school year. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 26th at 5:30 (TODAY!) in the Learning Center. The three new 4/5 teachers will be introduced at that time. Childcare is available for the meeting - please RSVP to Barbara Leopold (bleopold@bsdvt.org) if you will need this service.

The position of president was unfilled. PTO presidents set agendas, run meetings, work with the principal and staff to identify areas of need, and support & facilitate efforts by PTO members on specific events, programs or projects.

STEP-UP PHOTOGRAPHS
Jenny Breckenridge is collecting interesting and fun photos of our graduating 5th graders to be used in a slide show at this year’s Step Up ceremony on Monday, June 14th. WAY TO GO, RUN & READ WEEK
Last but not least, a HUGE THANKS to all the organizers, volunteers and participants in last week's busy Way to Go, Run and Read Week. Special thank yous to Roxanne Scully, Leslyn Hall and Mary Riley for putting together a busy, fun, active, literary week for Champlain Elementary students and families. Enjoyed the fun?
