Helping Children Cope During These Uncertain Times
Resilience has been proven time and time again to be one of the most important keys to mental health and overall success.
The Champlain PTO recently hosted an interactive session with Dr. Joelle van Lent, a clinical psychologist in Vermont who works with the Champlain teachers and staff to share training focused on fostering resilience.
Dr. van Lent focused on specific ideas to help our children cope with anxiety, worry, uncertainty, change, and lack of motivation.
If you missed it, you can watch the presentation. You can also watch in Youtube.com.
The Champlain Elementary School’s Parent Teacher Organization enriches the school community through events, activities, and projects that promote learning, build community, and improve the quality of life for students and staff, as well as advocate for Champlain Elementary within the school district and the broader community.
